A prescription medicine injected into muscles to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe facial lines in adults. It is indicated for moderate to severe glabellar (frown) lines associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity, lateral canthal lines (crow's feet) associated with orbicularis oculi activity, forehead lines associated with frontalis activity, and platysma bands associated with platysma muscle activity. Labeled doses include 20 Units for glabellar lines, 24 Units for lateral canthal lines, 40 Units for forehead lines with glabellar lines, 44 Units for simultaneous lateral canthal and glabellar lines, and 64 Units for simultaneous treatment of all three areas. BOTOX® Cosmetic dosing units are not equivalent to or comparable with any other botulinum toxin product. It carries a Boxed Warning for distant spread of toxin effect.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC is for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss, augmentation of the chin region to improve chin profile, and augmentation of the temple region for moderate to severe temple hollowing in adults over 21. JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC is for deep injection to improve moderate to severe loss of jawline definition in adults over 21. JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC, Ultra Plus XC, and Ultra XC are for injection into facial tissue to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds, with Ultra XC also indicated for lip augmentation. JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC is for lip augmentation, correction of perioral lines, and improvement of infraorbital/undereye hollowing — undereye treatment should only be performed by doctors who have completed the necessary training.
